HAVE YOU BEEN CRAVING SOME GREAT CINEMA?

If you've spent the summer subsisting on a diet of videos and late night TV movies, you're probably ready for a genuine big-screen feast. Thanks to the off-season efforts of the Quinte Film Alternative committee, there's a whole new menu of "gourmet" films waiting to satisfy your every-other-Wednesday appetite.

As we head into our fifth season, we are excited to offer a new option for renewing and new members. The Full Meal Deal combines the ultimate in convenience and affordability -- purchase the complete QFA 1999-2000 season including 18 films and a full membership with all benefits, including restaurant discounts and the end-of-season party -- for $100! You'll enjoy the convenience of a whole season's worth of advance tickets. No more line ups. Plus the warm fuzzy feeling you'll get from supporting the QFA.

We've made one more change in the interests of your convenience: advance tickets will now be sold ONLY at the theatre, on QFA movie nights, before and after the show.

THANKS FOR ANOTHER GREAT YEAR!

Thanks to our devoted audience and the support of our members, the Quinte Film Alternative has enjoyed another terrific season of provocative, witty, challenging and uplifting alternative films. As our "thanks" to members, the QFA hosted its Second Annual QFA members’ year end screening and party on June 9, 1999. The festivities got underway at 7 pm at the Famous Players 8 with a free screening of the fabulous Canadian hit, It's Your Turn, Laura (C't'a ton tour, Laura Cadieux) starring Quebec pop diva and actress Ginette Reno. The hit comedy was followed by a catered party at the Belleville Club with great fun had by all. Details ...

Thanks for your enthusiasm!
